Shake Up The Workplace
A one-day future-of-work unconference at the Kunsthaus in Zurich, six speakers, one of them ours; what survives is the announcement card and ninety-five seconds to camera.

Shake Up The Workplace was a one-day event on the future of work. WeWent ran it at the Kunsthaus in Zurich on 9 March 2020. The card lists six speakers: Yvonne Bettkober of Amazon Web Services, Daniela Landherr of Google, Laust Lauridsen of Brain-friendly Approach, Heiko Fischer of Resourceful Humans, Tarry Singh of Deepkapha, and Nick Van Dam of IE Business School. Unconference is the organisers' word, printed under the title.
The second item in the folder is a film. Ninety-five seconds, one unbroken take, shot on a phone at home in Drenthe on the evening of 26 November 2019. Green shirt, lavalier mic clipped to the collar, bookshelf and a potted plant behind, the blind already pulled down for the night. No slide, no logo, no title card. The recording never says what it was made for.
So the two pieces of evidence sit three and a half months apart. The card reached the machine on 25 February, less than a fortnight before the date it advertises. The film came first, by a season.
Nothing in this folder comes from Zurich. No photographs from the Kunsthaus, no deck, no notes from the day. The date on the card is 9 March 2020. Whether that room filled is not something the record can answer, and we would rather leave the question open than close it with a guess.
