Bridging the AI chasm at AI Summit Poland

AI Summit Poland 2025 ran on 14 and 15 October, organised by Evention. The venue was the Legends Club, the hospitality floor built into the stand of Legia Warsaw's stadium. The stage screen carried the year's Polish strapline, transformacja, w poszukiwaniu wartości. Transformation, in search of value. Tarry Singh was there on the Tuesday, the first of the two days.

The deck he brought was called Bridging the AI Chasm. Twenty-one slides under the Real AI mark, dated October 2025. Its argument rested on one pair of numbers from Kyndryl's 2025 People Readiness Report: 95 per cent of businesses have put money into AI, and 14 per cent of executives report that their workforce strategy is aligned with those investments. Everything else in the talk followed from the space between those two figures.

Three barriers held the middle of the session. Employee resistance, and the trust deficit sitting under it. Leadership misalignment, with 53 per cent of chief executives surveyed saying their leadership teams struggle to agree on AI priorities in time. And the skills gap, technical and human at once. Against them he set the pacesetters, the 14 per cent who pair deployment with workforce planning, and the 2.3x return the research attributes to organisations that align the two.

The room read like what it was, a football club's corporate floor. Pillars marked Legends Club. Windows onto the green of the pitch, one flank still lit pink and yellow by the grow lamps. Sponsor stands from OVHcloud and PwC in the corridor outside, delegates in red Evention lanyards moving between them. By the late afternoon session the chairs were full to the back wall.
